Touring Inspiration For First Time Solo Travellers

It’s clear to see that many people that we know are often travelling frequently and to more adventurous destinations. Most of us will have a bucket list of famous destinations across the world that we dream of visiting, and if as a solo traveller you feel as though your chances have slimmed down then it’s far from it.  . As your Personal Travel Agent I can open up a whole portfolio of holidays available for solo travellers, featuring some of the world’s most famous attractions.

The Taj Mahal, India

If you’d like to recreate the picture of Diana sat in front of the Taj Mahal then a 11 – 14 day Tigers and Temples tour in India to explore the country’s famous Golden Triangle could be for you. This enriching cultural experience takes in the iconic Taj Mahal – built in 1630 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan as a spectacular tomb for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal and named one of the New7Wonders of the World. Our guests will also visit Old and New Delhi, Jaipur and the Amber Fort, Jodhpur and Udaipur. This is one of our most popular tours amongst single travellers as there’s plenty to see with such culture, that friendships form on the way.

The Great Wall, China

Going back thousands of years, the Great Wall of China is one of the most unforgettable tours you can see. With a dedicated solo’s tour leader, you won’t feel alone at all, as they go through the history and culture of every tour element. Other tour highlights include a visit to the Forbidden City, Terracotta Warriors and Shanghai, as well as the chance to learn tai chi, calligraphy and how to make Chinese dumplings.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy

Listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages, Pisa’s famous leaning tower features in our eight-day Treasures of Tuscany tour. It’s a great tour if you’re looking take a local touring holiday to start off your adventures as a single traveller. Typically, you can take in the sublime architecture, history, art and food and wine of beautiful Florence, Siena and Luca, too, whilst staying at elegant spa towns in between. For a solo traveller the food, wine and beautiful scenery is enough to build friendships for life.

I’d like to remind you that this is only just 3 of hundreds of touring holidays open to solo travellers, my phone is always free for a phone call to talk through all the questions you may have, and I can always pass on my knowledge to help choose your next holiday of a lifetime.
